German actor Daniel Brühl is set to join the cast of another production beginning tomorrow in Iceland
Brühl starred in Tarantino’s Inglourious Basterds as the German sniper Pvt Fredrick Zoller who falls in love with Shosanna Dreyfus.
According to Twitch, Kóngavegur 7 is a comedy drama set in a trailer trash neighbourhood. After 3 years abroad Junior returns to Iceland with his set of problems hoping that his father can sort them out but his homecoming isn’t quite what he had expected. This will be the sophomore directorial effort for filmmaker Valdis Óskarsdottir, primarily known for her work as a film editor.
The German star Daniel Brühl (Goodbye Lenin, Inglourious Basterds) is going to play one of the leads along with the theatre group Vesturport in the Icelandic production of Kóngavegur 7 (Kingsroad 7), directed by acclaimed editor Valdis Óskarsdottir (Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind).
