Jon Stewart asks George Lucas the questions we all want to ask

Just watching the Daily Show on More 4 and this came on. Jon Stewart lays into George in a nice way and I think George disses the fans, but then again he may not have.
hehe, nice interview, i do agree with him tho, some people put movies they saw as a kid in insanely high regard. Nostalgia is a powerful thing but should not cloud the fun and greatness of new movies, prequels or sequels.
As to if he disses fans, i haven’t seen the whole interview on TV so i couldnt say, but it seems more like he is
tired of hearing that most critics can’t see passed ep4-6 and just blindly diss his movies. I would prolly be tired to if i spendt all my money making movies i wanted to make, and 10 years later people still say the movies are bad because of one character that is in half of the first movie. Its for kids, when they grow up, they will most likely fancy JarJar, not hate him lol.
All excellent points and I think Lucas does have a point when he says kids of today prefer the prequels to the original three. My son loves Revenge of the Sith.
