Four Brothers sequel in the works called…wait for it…Five Brothers!
Posted by LiveFor on January 14, 2010
Paramount is developing a sequel to its 2005 thriller Four Brothers, bringing back many of the creative team for Five Brothers according to THR.
Mark Wahlberg may well return to star and hatched the sequel idea with original writers David Elliot and Paul Lovett, who are writing “Five.”
Spoilers for Four Brothers ahead.
The 2005 movie, directed by John Singleton, revolved around four adopted brothers (Wahlberg, Tyrese Gibson, Andre Benjamin and Garrett Hedlund) who come together to avenge their mother’s death in what at first appears to be a random robbery. It made $74 million in the US.
Plot details are being kept under wraps, and it is not clear which of the other actors, if any, would return. Hedlund would appear to be out, as his character was killed in the first movie although he could be back in flashbacks.
Have you seen Four Brothers? Was it any good? Should there be a sequel?

Date Night – First look at Steve Carrell and Tina Fey
Posted by LiveFor on October 1, 2009

Directed by Shawn Levy (Night at the Museum), Date Night is the new comedy starring Tina Fey and Steve Carrell.
According to Collider the plot is as follows:
Shaken by the impending divorce of their good friends (not to mention their tendency to turn each other off during sex) Fey and Carrell’s characters decide to reignite their own spark by going out on a date…but not as themselves. What ensues is “a real case of mistaken identity, a mob effort to kill them and a Odyssean getaway through New York City’s nightscape.”
The film also stars Mark Ruffalo, Kristin Wiig, James Franco, Mila Kunis and Mark Wahlberg.
Not a bad cast and Fey and Carrell are both excellent comedy actors so this could be one to watch out for.
