Frozen -Trailer for stranded on a ski-lift film

Posted by LiveFor on December 22, 2009

I posted the excellent poster for Frozen a few days ago and now the trailer is out – be warned it contains spoilers but many trailers seem to these days.

“A typical day on the slopes turns into a chilling nightmare for three snowboarders when they get stranded on the chairlift before their last run. As the ski patrol switches off the night lights, they realize with growing panic that they’ve been left behind dangling high off the ground with no way down.

With the resort closed until the following weekend and frostbite and hypothermia already setting in, the trio is forced to take desperate measures to escape off the mountain before they freeze to death. Once they make their move, they discover with horror that they have much more to fear than just the frigid cold. As they combat unexpected obstacles, they start to question if their will to survive is strong enough to overcome the worst ways to die?”

Every time I’ve been snowboarding we’ve all had walkie talkies and mobile phones so I hope they explain why they don’t use them in the film. Still it looks like it could be good.

Written and directed by Adam Green, (writer/director of Hatchet) and stars Shawn Ashmore, Emma Bell, and Kevin Zegers as the three snow skiers.

What are your thoughts on it after seeing the trailer?

Frozen – A snowboarders worst fear

Posted by LiveFor on December 15, 2009

Now I’ve done a bit of snowboarding in my time – I was rubbish, but I enjoyed it. Jinja and a few of the other Live for Films posse do it regularly. The chairlifts were something else I was rubbish about, but this new film adds another factor to it.

STYD
had the excellent poster and the following synopsis:
