Natasha Richardson’s funeral

Posted by LiveFor on March 23, 2009

This is just so sad. Liam Neeson and Vanessa Redgrave at yesterday’s funeral for the late Natasha Richardson in Millbrook, NY.

Below is Timothy Dalton, Holly Hunter and Alan Rickman.

LFF’s thoughts and sympathies are with the family.

i don’t believe photo’s such as these have any business being circulated in the press. richardson was a public figure married to another public figure and we are all aware of her lineage…but what happened to her was a private family tragedy. i’ve always believed photo’s of public figures at work are fair game, but that’s where it ends unless you have permission. yes, the photo’s are moving, especially the one of liam neeson and ms. redgrave. perhaps it is the instantaneous know everything nature of the world we live in that allows people to believe they have the right to know every intimate detail of their favorite actor’s life when, in fact, all they are entitled to is the performance be it on stage or screen. the private life and death of a public figure should remain private. we do not belong there.

I must admit I was in two minds about posting these photos. There was lots of should I or shouldn’t I. In the end, as I felt really moved upon seeing them I thought that I would post them. I decided not to post the ones of their children that have been posted elsewhere.
