Wolverine and James Bond get stopped by a mobile phone

Posted by LiveFor on September 29, 2009

steady-rain-craig-jackman_lHugh Jackman and Daniel Craig were trying to perform the play “A Steady Rain” Wednesday night in NYC. The play, by Keith Huff and directed by Jonathan Crowley, tells the story of two Chicago policemen whose lives are thrown into turmoil after they mistakenly hand a young boy back to a cannibalistic serial killer. The plot mirrors a real life event involving US serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer.

However, an idiot forgot to turn off his mobile phone. Jackman set the him straight, staying in character all the while.

Jackman stomped about on stage as he asked: “You wanna get that? Come on, just turn it off. Unless you’ve got a better story. You want to get up and tell your stories?”

The audience laughed and gave Jackman, 40, a roaring applause for taking a stand.

Seconds later, another phone rang. Craig, 41, responded: “Can you get that, whoever it is can you just get it? We can wait just get the phone,”

The phone was eventually silenced. A relieved Craig said: “Denny [Jackman’s character’s name] took it hard.”

Apparantly a film version of A Steady Rain is currently in production and is slated for release in 2012. No word on who will be in that version.
