german title translates as Percey Jackson (:) Thieves(plural) in the Olymp. might be a bit of a spoiler right there.

I’ve read the book on my sons recommendation and it sort of is and isn’t a spoiler. My son keeps saying the film looks rubbish whenever something new comes out for it. I think it’s because he really loves the books.
I LOVE PERCY JACKSON AND THE OLYMPIANS THE LIGHTNING THIEF said

This film was terrible, and I imagine that the book must be just as bad. The author obviously only lightly researched Greek Mythology ( else, for instance, he would know that Medusa was killed by Perseus so couldn’t be alive to be killed by Percy Jackson) and the actors in the film couldn’t even be bothered to check pronunciations in a dictionary ( they repeatedly mispronounce things like Centaur, Minotaur and Satyr); a generic childrens flick that fails to live up to it’s potential. Avoid.
