Super 8 – Teaser for J J Abrams’ secret film leaks out

Yesterday there was the description of the teaser trailer for J J Abrams’ non-Cloverfield related film, Super 8. It was showing before Iron Man 2 in the States and, unsurprisingly, bootleg copies have surfaced on the Web. Not sure how long it will be live, but here it is for your viewing pleasure.
What did you think of that?
There is also a website for it, but not much on it – although if it is anything like the Cloverfield viral sites it may lead to more things. Let me know what you find out.

i m surprised this guy who leaked the description a few days ago was telling the truth. i dont think its anythins special at all. a really bad trailer or teaser. i m not in the slightest interested.
area51(again!) aliens(agaaaaain!).
everything was super generic and boring.
plus its not that much of great production. you can shoot and edit this in 4 to 5 weeks max. a lot of cgi.

Looks like bits ripped from Close Encounters, the truck, train stop lights…..but i get the vibe of Godzilla!

That fits with the fact Abrams is working with Spielberg and he wants to do a film with that kind of vibe to it

Watched this a few times now. What are the images in the camera lens near the end and what is the image that flashes up after the title card “Super 8” at the very end?
