Here’s a few films for you Phil that you might have already seen. First one is called ‘The Long Weekend’ originally made in 1978 an Aussie Film- think they are going to re-make this one but it’s a great film. Second is ‘Picnic at Hanging Rock’- what a weird film (Aussie again) that does have an ending that explains the story which was written later in the book. A great atmospheric film that freaked me out when I was about 14.
By the way ‘Day of the Triffids’ I always said should be made into a movie….can’t wait for the new TV Series….Mr Danny Boyle I know where you got your opening to 28 days later from!!!!!!
