The Furfangs – Cool sci-fi short film by Andrea Ricca

Posted by LiveFor on March 12, 2010

Andrea Ricca got in touch to let me know about this excellent sci-fi short. Well worth a watch.

“The Furfangs” is a sci-fi-horror short-movie with 3D special effects.

It tells the story of mysterious and aggressive creatures who came from the space.

The short lasts five minutes and was realized by only two people:
the director Andrea Ricca and the 3D graphic designer Gennaro Acanfora.

The work is a zero budget production.

It had no external contributions and it made no payements to the sharers.

The original score is by Gianfilippo De Mattia.

It was realized with the only help of a MiniDV camera and a computer.

The Guardian – Short film with practically no budget

Posted by LiveFor on January 22, 2009

Andrea Ricca emailed me about his short film, The Guardian. It stars Michele Di Mauro and as they describe it – One Cam – One Director – One Actor – One PC – ZERO BUDGET!
There was also an assistant director by the name of Antonella D’Andria.

It’s a great little short so take a look at it and head on over to The Guardian Channel on Youtube and leave your comments for Andrea. Truly an inspiration to all us wannabe filmmakers who sit around talking about making a movie but don’t actually do anything about it. Andrea has shown we have no excuse.

Go out and make a film then show me the results.
