Christina Hendricks on the cover of Esquire
Posted by LiveFor on April 19, 2010
Why another photo of Christina Hendricks? Well she has been good to Live for Films and has consistently been in the top posts of all time on the site so I know a lot of you out there dig her. Plus she was in Firefly.
Here is a little of what she has to say:
We want you to order Scotch. It’s the most impressive drink order. It’s classic. It’s sexy. Such a rich color. The glass, the smell. It’s not watered down with fruit juice. It’s Scotch. And you ordered it.
Stand up, open a door, offer a jacket. We talk about it with our friends after you do it. We say, “Can you believe he stood up when I approached the table?” It makes us feel important. And it makes you important because we talk about it.
Panties is a wonderful word. When did you stop saying “panties”? It’s sexy. It’s girlie. It’s naughty. Say it more.
You can check out the Mad Men star’s Letter to Men over at the Esquire site. I still think she would make a great Power Girl.

Christina Hendricks was at the DGA and so was Cameron and Bigelow
Posted by LiveFor on February 1, 2010
At the recent Directors Guild of America Awards Kathryn Bigelow won Best Director for The Hurt Locker over her ex James Cameron’s Avatar.
Christina Hendricks (Mad Men, Firefly) was there. I don’t know if she won anything!

Christina Hendricks gets Life as We Know It
Posted by LiveFor on August 27, 2009
I’ve moved to www.liveforfilms.com
“Mad Men” co-star Christina Hendricks is set to star alongside Katherine Heigl and Josh Duhamel in Warner Bros. romancer Life as We Know It (plus she’s recently worn a corset on the cover of NY Magazine) and is on the cover of Esquire magazine.
Hendricks was also in Firefly, but I always wonder which comic book character she should play – Power Girl maybe? Anyone else agree or have any other suggestions? Would she make a good Catwoman – go vote in our poll if you think she would.
Greg Berlanti will direct Life As We Know It and will start shooting in Autumn.
The film follows two unattached adults whose worlds are turned upside down when their mutual best friends die in an accident and name them as caregivers of their orphaned daughter. Hendricks will portray the best friend to Heigl’s and Duhamel’s characters.
Heigl and her mother Nancy Heigl are exec producing the film.
Hendricks will soon be seen alongside Emily Mortimer in the indie drama Leonie.
Update: Now it looks as if fellow Mad Man hottie, January Jones, is heading to the big screen – more here (she should really do her jacket up).
