Kane & Lynch – Jamie Foxx to star opposite Bruce Willis

Posted by LiveFor on March 18, 2010

Jamie Fox is in negotiations to star opposite Bruce Willis in “Kane & Lynch,” a video game adaptation that veteran stunt coordinator and second unit director Simon Crane is helming. THR had the news.

Foxx has been circling the project for a few weeks not but word leaked when Kyle Ward, who wrote the adaptation, tweeted Foxx’s involvement last night.

The game follows Kane (Willis), a death row inmate who, along with a schizophrenic killer named Lynch (Foxx), is sprung by Kane’s former team so that he can retrieve a stolen fortune. Kane travels to Los Angeles, Japan and Cuba, with Lynch acting as the team’s watchdog in order to save his wife and daughter.

Hopefully the film will be better than the game and the two roles are nasty fellas so could have some great scenes for the two to work on.

How do you feel about Foxx being cast as Lynch?

Jamie Foxx to take on Mike Tyson

Posted by LiveFor on October 8, 2009

foxxAccording to MTV, Jamie Foxx revealed that he’d like his Ray director Taylor Hackford to direct him in a biopic on former heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson.

“Mike Tyson, heavyweight boxing champion of the world,” Foxx told MTV when they asked him what he was working on next “Taylor Hackford, who also directed [the] Ray Charles [biopic], I think is my man. We have a certain kinship, and we’ve talked about when we do get back together what it would be like. I think, for something like this, it would be great because everybody remembers that era. And it’s been a long enough time that people need a refreshening.”

Foxx also added that Tyson himself would be involved and has the star’s blessing.

“I’ve reached out to Mike, and I’ve been open about it,” Foxx said of his involvement as the untitled film’s producer and star. “I think that, of all the biopics that are out there, he has the most interesting story that no one has ever heard.”

Do you think Foxx could play Tyson? Do you even want to see a Tyson film?

Come time for the court case though there are a few complications, and in order to get the death penalty for one of them the other has to go free. The deal is made, the law system and those behind it are happy.

The father and husband is not. He has revenge in his heart and he has the means to do it. So he ensures the execution is messy and grabs the second man to enact his own revenge, that’s when the police arrest him.
