Shelter – Julianne Moore and Jonathan Rhys Meyers’ psycho film

Posted by LiveFor on January 26, 2010

Shelter follows a female forensic psychiatrist (Julianne Moore) who specializes in debunking multiple personality disorder. When she discovers that her latest patient’s various personalities are all murder victims, she struggles to find a logical explanation for the man’s delusion.

After that little synopsis you won’t be surprised that it is written by Michael Cooney who wrote the similar sounding Identity. My bet is that Jonathan Rhys Meyer’s character is a separate personality of the Julianne Moore character who will find out she is actually the murderer and that’s why she knows all the personalities of the different murder victims….that’s just my guess…then they all fly off to Pandora and fight alien monsters.

Chloe – Red Band Trailer. What happened to Amanda Seyfried’s clothes?

Posted by LiveFor on January 12, 2010

Catherine (Julianne Moore) and David (Liam Neeson), she a doctor, he a professor, are at first glance the perfect couple. Happily married with a talented teenage son, they appear to have an idyllic life. But when David misses a flight and his surprise birthday party, Catherine’s long simmering suspicions rise to the surface. Suspecting infidelity, she decides to hire an escort (Amanda Seyfried) to seduce her husband and test his loyalty. Catherine finds herself ‘directing’ Chloe’s encounters with David, and Chloe’s end of the bargain is to report back, the descriptions becoming increasingly graphic as the meetings multiply.

Directed by Atom Egoyan. Due out on the 19th March 2010.

What do you think? Will this be good or bad?

Posted by LiveFor on September 15, 2009

firthA Single Man is the story of George Falconer, a British college professor who is struggling to find meaning in his life after the death of his long-time partner, Jim . He is consoled by his closest friend Charley, a 48-year-old beauty, and is stalked by one of his students, Kenny.

It is based on the novel of the same name by Christopher Isherwod and adapted by Tom Ford and David Scearce.

Dennis Quaid to play Bill Clinton

Posted by LiveFor on March 25, 2009

Dennis Quaid will star as President Clinton, Michael Sheen will portray British Prime Minister Tony Blair and Julianne Moore will play Hillary Clinton in “The Special Relationship,” an HBO film about the unique and sometimes turbulent political relationship between the newly installed PM and the U.S. president.

The film isn’t greenlit yet but is expected to mark the directing debut of “Frost/Nixon” playwright Peter Morgan, who wrote the screenplay.

Sheen, who starred as David Frost in “Frost/Nixon,” played Blair in the Morgan-scripted “The Deal” and “The Queen.” Helen McCrory, who played Cherie Blair in “The Queen,” will reprise that role in “The Special Relationship.”

Quaid as Clinton? Anyone else seeing that? Moore as Hillary?
