In case you missed it, there was a Star Wars themes Charity car wash over the past fews days and for your viewing pleasure here are a few photos and some video of the wash.
I am just being incredibly helpful and informative with this. Nothing to see here, move along, move along.
I think these are simply brilliant. Marc Ecko (he of the Boba Fett hoodie) designed them and he has this to say over on his official blog:
These are some teasers of my new watch collection. The range is inspired by Star Wars. A mixture of metals, rubbers and nylons. My amazing partners at Timex- completely rocked these. Yes…they feature “indiglo”…sounds…and other technologies. From Boba to R2…Stormtroopers to Vader…
Trainers, sneakers, pumps, whatever you want to call them these are a nice fusion between Star Wars and Adidas. I do love the packaging on them. The first releases are scheduled for Spring/Summer 2010 at select retailers as well as adidas Originals Stores worldwide
“The Spring/Summer 2010 collection fuses iconic STAR WARS™ characters and scenes with classic adidas Originals footwear and apparel silhouettes. Inspired by the galactic saga, the STAR WARS™ collection consists of limited edition as well as mass distribution footwear, apparel and accessories for men, women and kids. Classic adidas Originals track tops and several legendary sneaker styles are represented with characters and scenes from the epic saga in reinterpreted versions. Expect to see Darth Vader and Stormtrooper graphics on select iconic Originals styles. Other key STAR WARS™ characters and memorable moments from the films will also be represented in innovative ways.”
I am loving these excellent pieces of Star Wars artwork. I think the Stormtrooper one is my favourite. They are by Christopher Waggoner and prints are available from the Acme Archives website Source: /Film
Looks like this is to be the first Star Wars horror novel and it looks pretty cool judging by the cover…oh book, cover, judge, never…damn! It’s by Joe Schreiber if that helps. According to StarWars.com the text for the back cover is still to come, but this front cover art by Indika.
Anyone know anything more about the story? Or anyone want to take a guess about the story?
UPDATE: Here is a bit more on it from the authorJoe Schreiber’s blog.
I had the time of my life on this one, I have to say. I’m doing the final edits now, and I’ve tried to make it into exactly the kind of book you’d want to read if you were a child of the 70s who grew up with the original Star Wars trilogy and really digs horror in the vein of The Shining and Alien, with a little dose of William Gibson mixed in.
