It just keeps looking better and better doesn’t it. You can also play Space Paranoids online if you wish.

This could either be some concept art for the forthcoming Tron Legacy film or video game, a costume for a generic Tron character / soldier, or maybe the bad guy of the film – apparently that will be Clu who is the avatar of Jeff Bridge’s character, Kevin Flynn.
Previous photos show the good guys have the blue light on their costume and the bad guys have the red.
Whichever it is I really like the look of it. What’s your opinion on it?

Jack Kerouac’s On The Road is one of the classic tales from the beat generation. I read it way back in university and enjoyed it – never read it since though. Turns out Francis Ford Coppola bought the rights to the book way back in the seventies, but it has been a long journey to get it near to the big screen.
Now Empire have the news that Garrett Hedlund (Tron Legacy) is in talks for the role of Dean Moriarty.
Coppola hired Motorcycle Diaries director Walter Salles and scriptwriter Jose Rivera way back in 2005. Now it looks as if the film may begin shooting this summer. We shall have to wait and see.
I don’t really see Hedlund as Moriarty. Just doesn’t seem the right choice for the role, but what do I know.

Alan Bradley was a computer programmer who wrote the computer program Tron. He was also COO of ENCOM until the 1990s.
Alan Bradley was a programmer at ENCOM in 1982, when he wrote Tron, a security program that was able to shut down the MCP, the administrative program that was controlling ENCOM’s mainframe system.
In an exclusive interview with IGN, Alan talks about the company and the mysterious disappearance of Kevin Flynn.
He looks an awful lot like the Commander of Babylon 5. Anyone else with me on that?

The Tron Legacy trailer hit yesterday (check it out). You briefly see a de-aged Jeff Bridges as Clu.
Dark Horizons did a side by side comparison of the de-aged Dude with a shot of him from 1982’s Tron. Not too shabby although a little bit symmetrical, but then an evil copy can look however he wants.
What do you think of the comparison?

Finally, the trailer is out for one of my most anticipated movies this year. A great trailer, full of mystery and cool imagery. Jeff Bridges as the younger, evil Clu (above). Olivia Wilde as the woman of the piece. Michael Sheen is the nightclub owner clad in white and we see Bruce Boxleitner as Alan Bradley – his counterpart, Tron is meant to be in the film so I am assuming he will have been youngified for the role as Bridges was.

Now you have seen it what do you think of the trailer? Have you seen it in 3D yet? Can you wait until December to see the film?

Yes it is very poor quality and it is best seen in 3D, but here is your first look at the new Tron Legacy trailer. The official release is some time this week.
