Lady Gaga -WTF! Telephone. Caged Women, Beyonce with a dose of Lynch?

Posted by LiveFor on March 13, 2010

At 9 minutes long this is a short film. Lots of women in prison, Beyonce driving the Pussy Wagon from Kill Bill Vol 1. Glasses made of cigarettes, and just mad as a box of mad things. Plus when breaking out of prison I suggest running and not dancing in full view of the CCTV.

Tub – Trailer for man who gets his bath pregnant film

Posted by LiveFor on December 19, 2009

Directed and written by Bobby Miller this one sounds just strange.

It stars Eric Levy, Megan Raye Manzi and the trailer puts me in mind of David Lynch’s Eraserhead.

Vodpod videos no longer available.

Anyone know any Amputees? This guy needs them for his Star Wars halloween costume

Posted by LiveFor on October 22, 2009

statue_ggiant_chewieAn add over on Craigslist is looking for a double amputee.
Need an amputee to complete my Halloween costume (Brooklyn)

So this might seem strange and really offensive to some but hopefully someone will reply. I have always loved the scene in Empire Strikes Back where Chewbacca has to carry around a half reconstructed C3PO in a backpack because he hasn’t reattached his lower body yet. For Halloween I would love to dress up like this. I am big enough and strong enough to both pull off the Chewbacca look and to carry around a lot of weight for the night. So basically I am looking for a double amputee (someone missing both legs – preferably at the hip) to accompany me as C3PO for the evening. We should meet ahead of time so that we can work out the backpack/harness system. There are a few parties that I want to hit and I think we will be the hit of any event we attend. Anyone up for this?

Wrong and offensive or sci-fi geek cool?

Human Centipede – All kinds of wrong but long live the new flesh

Posted by LiveFor on July 6, 2009

You know what, you really cannot make this stuff up can you. I thought it was a joke at first but the pictures show it is being made.

Outside the more outré work of Takashi Miike and David Cronenberg, you won’t have seen anything quite like Dutch avant-garde artist Tom Six’ totally bizarre off-the-wall oddity. Internationally respected Siamese twin surgeon Dr. Josef Heiter has a demented vision for mankind’s future existence. He wants to remove human beings’ kneecaps so they have to exist on all fours and then surgically graft them mouth-to-anus to form a centipede chain. When two stranded female Americans arrive at his luxury home-cum-hospital looking for help, his long-gestating plan swiftly moves into chilling action with a shocking force. Kidnapping a third Japanese male tourist he begins the tissue matches, teeth removal and buttock moulding to create his triplet creature… The First Sequence in Six’s intended trilogy features truly unforgettable imagery, clinically dazzling direction and a so-far-round-the-bend mad doctor performance from German superstar Dieter Laser you’ll scream. Behold the grotesque New Flesh. If you dare!

What do you think of that concept? It’s okay if you feel a little bit sick and apologies for sharing. It is one of those things that once you’ve read about it you have to tell someone else – lucky for you I have this web site 🙂

Lars von Trier’s Antichrist to spawn a Video Game?

Posted by LiveFor on June 18, 2009

Just had to check the date. It is definitely not 1st April so this may in fact be true.

Antichrist is the new movie from Lars Von Trier it was met with laughter and outrage by critics in Cannes.

A couple (Willem Dafoe, Charlotte Gainsbourg) mourning the loss of their child retreat to a cabin in the woods, where they soon encounter strange, terrifying occurrences. Cruelty between the sexes ensues.

Now according to /Film it is being turned into a video game. An article on (Google translation) announced the games development.

Morten Iversen, who wrote the Hitman games, is listed as ‘game developer’ on the main Zentropa website.

The game, called Eden (which was the name of the cottage in the film) , will be a first-person thriller/adventure game that apparantly invites players to confront their fears. Willem Dafoe is meant to be reprising his role in voice-over, though the game will not replicate the film, picking up afterward instead.

The experience will be “strong and very personal,” “controversial” and that it “…must be your own personal hell – a bit like a nightmare version of Myst. It will also apparantly pull information from the net, such as news reports and videos, and add them to the gaming experience

“They are based on what fears you have (part of the questions you answer before starting the game). So if you suffer from arachnophobia the articles are likely to contain something about spiders and what not.”

Eden will be a PC title, and while early in development is planned for a release within a year, potentially either on the Antichrist DVD or as a download.

It does sound like it could be quite an interesting game, but it doesn seem like an odd film to base it on. Is it real or not? Would you play it?

You’re a huge Star Trek fan and you want that to show at your funeral

Posted by LiveFor on June 10, 2009

This is the official Star Trek casket from Eternal Image.

I like a bit of Star Trek, but this is going a bit too far in my mind. I don’t think my family would be too happy if I went for this coffin. Still it does look cool.

David Carradine – This is getting weirder

Posted by LiveFor on June 9, 2009

I read this over on Hollywood Elsewhere and I’m just going to post the whole thing. Have a read of it.

Movieline’s Stu Van Airsdale has posted a smart summary of the evolving investigation into the recent death of David Carradine. Suspicions of foul play are growing (i.e., who bound Carradine’s hands?), Carradine’s family has hired lawyer Mark Geragos and superstar forensic pathologist Michael Baden to look into things on its behalf and the FBI has gotten involved.

“Thai investigators essentially ruled out the possibility of foul play after interviewing hotel staff and reviewing surveillance footage of the corridors near Carradine’s room,” Stu reports. But Extra’s Jerry Penacoli said on a recent Larry King Show interview that he’s spoken to the director of the film Carradine was shooting in Thailand “at length” and that the director “said that he believes that there was foul play.

“And he said that no one else knows this but his family — Carradine’s family and friends and people closest to him, but David was very interested in investigating and disclosing secret societies.”

Secret societies?

How weird is that. Secret societies, hands tied behind his back, it’s turning into some kind of weird bizarro film script. What are your theories on all of this?
