Dylan Baker in Spider-Man 4. Will the Lizard follow?

In a recent Q&A following a screening of Trick ‘r Treat (I’ve got that on preorder – can’t wait), Dylan Baker did reveal that he will be reprising the role of Curt Connors (the one-armed scientist who would one day become the reptilian villain The Lizard) in Spider-Man 4:
Baker said that he had just gotten his first call concerning Spider-Man 4 that very day. Baker appeared in Spider-Man 2 and Spider-Man 3 as Dr. Curt Connors, a professor at Empire State University.
When Dougherty ribbed him about “just appearing in the background” Baker said that, basically, that’s what he’d be doing. It was unclear if they were being truthful or if, in fact, Dr. Connors would become supervillain The Lizard in this fourth entry in the film series. During their riffing, Dougherty used the phrase “cocktease for another year” as to whether or not we’d see The Lizard.
I really do hope they use the Lizard in the new film as that could lead to some Raimi horror style shenanigans like he had with Doc Ock. Plus it would be a good excuse to bring in Kraven the Hunter to track down the Lizard and Spidey has to protect Dr Connors.
Sam Raimi has also said that Bruce Campbell will have a “Meatier” role in the new film. Other sites are saying this could mean he will be playing a villain such as Mysterio. However, I reckon he will be playing a butcher who interacts with Peter Parker at some point in the film.
Do you want the Lizard in the next Spider-Man film? If not him then what other villains would be good to see in it?
Also if Bruce was to play a villain which one could it be? Maybe the Chameleon and that could tie up all his previous appearances in the Spider-Man films.
