Timothy Dalton and Steven Berkoff have joined the cast of GK Films’ romance-drama “The Tourist,” starring Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp according to Variety.
The film directed by Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck also stars Paul Bettany and Rufus Sewell. It’s shooting on location in Venice and will be released by Sony.
“The Tourist,” penned by Julian Fellowes & Christopher McQuarrie and Jeffrey Nachmanoff, centers on an American tourist visiting Italy to mend a broken heart who pursues a romance with a woman who deliberately crosses his path. The couple are then caught in a whirlwind of intrigue and danger.
The cast for this one just keeps on getting better.

The creators of the beloved “Toy Story” films re-open the toy box and bring moviegoers back to the delightful world of Woody, Buzz and our favorite gang of toy characters in TOY STORY 3. Woody and Buzz had accepted that their owner Andy would grow up someday, but what happens when that day arrives? In the third installment, Andy is preparing to depart for college, leaving his loyal toys troubled about their uncertain future. Lee Unkrich (co-director of “Toy Story 2″ and “Finding Nemo”) directs this highly anticipated film, and Michael Arndt, the Academy Award®-winning screenwriter of “Little Miss Sunshine,” brings his unique talents and comedic sensibilities to the proceedings. Toy Story 3 will be presented in Disney Digital 3DTM in select theaters.
Toy Story 3 features the voices of Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, Joan Cusack, Don Rickles, Wallace Shawn, John Ratzenberger, Estelle Harris, John Morris, Laurie Metcalf, R. Lee Ermey, Jodi Benson, Ned Beatty, Bonnie Hunt, Timothy Dalton, Jeff Garlin, Whoopi Goldberg and Michael Keaton. Due out on 18th June.

The Doctor as David Tennant is coming to the end of his journey. The End of Time is showing in the UK on Christmas day.
Now the cast list for the two parter is out on imdb (so it may not be totally correct) and it makes for some interesting reading. Spoilers ahoy!
John Barrowman (Captain Jack)
Brian Cox (The Elder of the Ood)
Timothy Dalton (The Narrator)
Lachele Carl (Trinity Wells)
Jessica Hynes (Verity Newman)
David Harewood (Joshua Naismith)
Jacqueline King (Sylvia Noble)
Alexandra Moen (Lucy Saxon)
Sylvia Seymour (Miss Trefusis)
Catherine Tate (Donna Noble)
Russell Tovey (Midshipman Frame)
John Simm (The Master)
Jimmy Vee (Monster)
June Whitfield (Minnie Hopper)
Paul Kasey (Ood Sigma)
Silas Carson (Ood voice)
Part Two also has:
Roger Bailey (Time Lord)
Teresa Banham (Governor)
Brid Brennan (Visionary)
Camille Caduri (Jackie Tyler)
Tommy Knight (Luke Smith)
Billie Piper (Rose Tyler)
Elisabeth Sladen (Sarah Jane Smith)
Matt Smith (The Doctor)
Penelope Wilton (Harriet Jones)
What have we learnt from this then? Well lots of familiar faces – Captain Jack, Harriet Jones, Rose & Jackie Tyler, The Master, Donna Noble.
Of particular interest are characters such as Verity Newman (Jessica Hynes). She also played Joan Redfer the character who was engaged to the Doctor when he went human and saw his book The Journal of Impossible Things. Apparantly Verity is a modern day author who has written the very same book – reincarnation maybe?
Now I’m not sure whether the Doctor will be revisiting all these people to right wrongs when he last met them or if it will be flashbacks – as it is Doctor Who it will probably be the former.
We’ll also get out first glimpse of Matt Smith as the new Doctor and a Time Lord!
Any thoughts or ideas as to what we may see in the final moments of Tennant’s Doctor? I for one am going to miss him.

Some excellent news about Toy Story 3 from Empire.
Timothy Dalton – Prince Barin, 007, Time Lord in some upcoming Doctor Who episodes and Hot Fuzz star will be lending his voice to the Disney/Pixar threequel, Disney president John Lasseter announced today at a London-based Disney Animation Showcase.
Dalton will voice Mr. Pricklepants, a hedgehog toy with thespian tendencies.
There is no information as to whether he will be a good guy or a villain. There was a recent description of some footage from the film, but no mention of a hedghog.

The trailer for David Tennant’s last episodes of Dr. Who, The End Of Time, have been seen. io9 describes it as this – Spoilers ahead:
We see the planet Earth from space, with the sun coming out behind it, and Timothy Dalton’s voice purrs: “It is said that in the final days of the planet Earth, everyone had bad dreams.” And then we see weird laughing faces, followed by David Tennant looking quite perturbed. We see glimpses of Wilf, Donna, Donna’s mother, and an African man in a suit, all looking very serious. And there’s a scary snake-faced creature. And then there’s a figure in a dark hoodie lurking ominously. Dalton narrates: “He returns.” We catch a glimpse of Ood Sigma, the Ood who told the Doctor his song was ending. And then the Doctor standing in the background, with the guy in a hoodie in the foreground. And then the hoodie comes off, and it’s John Simm with his hair weirdly bleached! His voice comes: “My name is the Master.” And then a title comes on the screen: “THE END OF TIME.” And the Doctor walks forward with flames in the background, his face looking smoky and serious. And the title says “CHRISTMAS 2009.” And the crowd goes wild.

The photo above confirms a few rumours that have been knocking about regarding David Tennant’s final few episodes of Doctor Who. Apologies for any spoilers.
As you can see both Timothy Dalton and John Sim are with Tennant between takes. Presumably Sim will be back as The Master, although as he died, or that version of him died, in a previous series then I am not sure what he could be doing. Mind you it did end with a Ming the Merciless style picking up the ring thing.
It looks as if Dalton is dressed up in some Time Lord finery (although that’s not definite) so it may mean the Time Lords are coming back or maybe he will be in some flashbacks featuring the young Doctor and The Master.
Any theories on what could happen? Whatever the story will be it is good to know that some class actors will be guest starring for David Tennants last few days as a Time Lord. It is going to be sad to see him go.
